AMQ Shanghai ITC

This project from Alexander McQueen is targeting a LEED v4 ID+C Gold certification. It is found inside the high profile mixed-purpose building Shanghai ITC, owned by Sun Kung Kai Properties and located at the well-recognized Xujiahui district area in Shanghai, China. BEE worked closely with Alexander McQueen to achieve some remarkable sustainable features in the 229m2 retail store, including:

• Implementation of energy-efficient LED light fixtures throughout the store with a >90 CRI (Color Rendering Index)
• 70 percent of the equipment and appliances of the store meet the ENERGY STAR standard
• Applying aesthetically pleasing elements using scientifically proven biophilia design elements (butterfly, morpho and beetle panels) to help staff and customers relieve stress and mental fatigue
• Implementation of an Indoor Air Quality (IAQ) Management Plan during the construction phase
• Use of QLEAR, an advanced cloud-based indoor and outdoor environmental quality management and analytics system
