FORMIA Head Office

FORMIA is an international specialist in airline amenities. The company offers custom-designed, premium, and sustainable solutions that add exceptional value to the passenger experience. On June 12, 2024, after 15 years at its former location, FORMIA opened its new head office at the Harbourfront in Hung Hom, Hong Kong.

We are honored to have contributed to this project, which achieved LEED ID+C Gold certification on September 26, 2024. The office incorporates sustainable features such as energy-efficient lighting, optimized HVAC systems, and water-saving features to help minimize environmental impact.

In 2025, we supported the project in achieving WELL Gold certification. This recognition reflects FORMIA’s dedication to creating a workplace where people feel their best — with thoughtful attention to clean air, quality water, natural light, and everyday comfort woven into the design. To keep these standards consistently high, the space is supported by our BEE Sense system, which continuously monitors indoor air quality to ensure a healthy and welcoming environment for everyone.

IAQ MONITORING

To support FORMIA’s sustainability efforts and help achieve LEED and WELL certifications, our team conducted indoor air quality monitoring throughout the office. Six monitors were installed in key areas, continuously tracking essential air quality parameters to ensure a healthy and comfortable environment for everyone.

Below are some impressive results that were achieved just within a month after installing the monitors:

Our monitoring detected areas where air quality was not meeting the desired standards. With this information, corrective actions were implemented, leading to a noticeable improvement. The heatmaps show that both TVOC and CO₂ levels have significantly improved, creating a more comfortable environment for everyone in the office.
